Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko

 

 

General

 

Activities and aim for Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko has defined as follows: Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko is a group of different aged advisers, who promote conspicuousness and development of Industrial Engineering and Management as well as its effectiveness to Finland industry and competitiveness of economic life. Especially Honorary Advisory Council supports Prodeko society: members of Prodeko, The Guild of Industrial Engineering and Management and its predecessor association current and previous members. Background organization of Honorary Advisory Council are Prodeko, The Guild of Industrial Engineering and Management and Prodeko Alumni. Honorary Advisory Council can execute its aim for example by advising and creating connection to Prodeko's or Prodeko Alumni's  activity, education, research and economic life deveopment related on Industrial Engineering and Management in Aalto University or Technical High School. Honorary Advisory Council increases connections and fellowship between IEM alumni and students by its excistence and activites and promotes general  conspicuousness of  Industrial Engineering and Management.

 

 

Background

 

Prodeko, The Guild of Industrial Engineering and Management and Prodeko alumni were gathered advisers in 2004-2005 by Prodeko Alumni Advisory Council Committee. As a result Prodeko and Prodeko alumni formed I Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko to work in 2005-2007 association's common advisory organ. After that there have been several two-year-lasting Advisory Councils:

  • II Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko 2008-2010
  • III Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko 2010-2012
  • IVHonorary Advisory Council of Prodeko 2012-2014
  • V Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko 2014-2016
  • VI Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko 2016-2018
  • VII Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko 2018-2020
  • VIII Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko 2020-

 

New members are chosen usually every second autumn and they are seeked in summer and in the beginnin of autumn. Advisory council has every year two meeting, in spring and in autumn.

New Honorary Advisory Council of Prodeko is nominated usually on every uneven year autumn. New members are sought in summer and in the beginning of autumn. Propositions of nominated persons can do Prodeko and Prodeko Alumni board and participants of meetings of the associations, as well as Prodeko's honor members and members of previous Honorary Advisory Councils of Prodeko. Advisory Council assembles annually spring- and autumn meeting.
